Dick Sutphen conducts numerous seminars in Sedona (for more info
818/889-1575, and has written a book "Sedona: Phychic Energy Vortexex,"
and also has several tapes " Master Meditation & The Sedona Vortex
Story", "Sedona: New Age Music," and "Sedona Sunrise: New Age Music"
and a video "Sedona, Arizona Energy Vortexes" available through
Valley of the Sun Publishers.
All are VERY good and well worth investigating, especially if you're
planning to visit Sedona.

| What info do you need John I live two hours away from Sedona, I
was there a few months ago meditating on Bell rock. It truly is
a beautiful, restful place. I can recommend some spots for dinner
etc. and I have a friend who operates a bed and breakfast inn also.

| hi...spent some time in and near Sedona camping two summers ago,
and it was one of the most powerful "power spots" we visited in
the southwest. Pretty incredible place. Highly recommend sunset
camping at Oak Creek Canyon (??)... enjoy.

| I find these comments interesting. However, I do not understand
if having Vortex(es) over your city is goodness or WHAT? Can any
one provide more information about this subject. Also, how does
one proceed to find out if their city or town has Vortexes or it.
If have a city Vortex is goodness have does one avail themself of
its energy or power - providing that is possible.

| It's been a while since I posted this note. I thought I'd offer
some follow-up info.

Don,
I've been to Sedona a few times since I posted this note. The book
by Dick Sutphen, Sedona: Psychic Energy Vortexes, served as a excellent
beginning to learning about vortexes and those in Sedona. My
girlfriend and I had wonderful and enlightening trips there. Our
experiences very powerful, beneficial, and new to us.
Our first trip to the vortexes was wonderful! We made a point of going
to all 4 vortexes and meditating at each one.
Near and in Boyton Canyon we experienced a tingling throughout our
entire bodies, sort of like when you foot falls asleep, but without
the discomfort.
We experienced a variety of personal insights at the other vortexes
and for 2 hours a "channeling" type of experience in which answers
to some personal questions were provided.
We now visit Sedona everytime we go to Arizona. Aside from the
powers of the vortexes, it's just a beautiful display of nature
and a pleasant place to visit/live.

The book by Dick Sutphen, Sedona: Psychic Energy Vortexes, helped
us gain an understanding of what the vortexes are and how to obtain
their benefits. You mentioned "...having vortexes over your city...";
to clarify your understanding, vortexes eminate from the ground
up. The energy can eminate above the ground for quite a distance,
depending on the vortex.
As far as finding out where the vortexes are, I'd suggest asking
around, reading books, and this conference (I think in one of the
Harmonic Convergence topics there were references to various vortexes).
