| | There are some who claim they can. Peter Hurkos was one who was
    reputed to have such powers. He worked with police forces both
    in Europe and the United States in this, with some apparent success,
    but also with some lack of success.

    is called SHOUTING.]

| | There definitely seem to be. However, when they do it under conditions
    where all "conventional" explanations can be ruled out, they can
    do "it" much less often or reliably than they claim or expect.
    Note two things: 1) Many are *still* able to locate things at a
    higher rate than can be dismissed as chance; and 2) That they are
    unable to perform as well in "controlled" conditions does *not*
    prove (although it clearly suggests) that the conventional explanations
    explains the way that they were getting that part of their results;
    it only says that the controls effected, by some mechanism, their
    abilities.

| 360.3 | Horary Astrologers claim that... | ZANNA::DELVALLE |  | Tue May 12 1987 16:26 | 9 |

    Some astrologers claim they can. The branch of Astrology that deals
    with this, is called Horary Astrology. I have read about actual
    cases solved with Horary Astrology. It all depends on the time
    the client asks the question to the Horary Astrologer. He would
    then cast a chart for that time, and try to answer the client's
    question.
