    Here is an interesting exercise with Tarot cards.
    
    Taking your birth date add them so:
    
    					month
    					day
    					year
                                      --------
                                        sum
    
    Then take the sum and add the individual numbers together until
    you get a two digit number and the final resulting one digit number.
    
    Fer instance: 
    
    					06    {sixth day}
    					10    {October}
    				      1955
                                    --------
     				      1971= 1+9+7+1=18
    				            1+8=9
    
    Take the Major Arcania with two digits as what you show the world
    and the Major Arcania with one digit as what you really are inside.
                       
    For this set it would be The Moon as the outer projection and the
    Hermit and the inner projection.

	What happens if your "show the outside world" is 26 as mine is, the Major Arcana doesn't go up that high. Ideas? Carolyn

	I had read on this technique also, and what the book I read instructed one to do was this: If your two-digit number comes out to more than 22, convert it to a one-digit. This, according to the author, makes one a special person, because the inner and outer selves are unified. So the person with 30 as the two-digit number would have the Empress as both inner & outer projection; the person with 26 as the two-digit number would have Strength as both inner & outer projection. For people whose number came out to 22, there was an exception. As you know, the 22 Major Arcana are numbered 0 - 21. So 22, in its two-digit form, was what became 0--The Fool. The one-digit number was arrived at in the usual manner, so that person would have a combination of The Fool and The Emporer. Interesting mix, no? 	I have never studied numerology, and only use it for selecting significators in Tarot readings. Here is a question: Given the method above my "outer" is 24 (hence discard), my inner is hence 6 However we have a coincidence now, as the number I get by reducing my name is also 6 comments anybody? /. 	Re .0: My "outer" is 21; my "inner" is 3; this seems at slight consonance with my perceptions; if you reduce days, months, and years separately and _then_ add, I get 28, which reduces to 10 for both. This seems closer, but still no cigar. My numerical affinity by other methods seems to be 5, which is less off, though I suspect my Tarot archtypes are probably others ... Nice game, though.
