If those tickets are in Section 12 and they are face value, shouldn't they

I not an expert on the box numbering, but Box 12 would probably be 
a Field Box.  They could be Upper Box seats, I think they are $21 
seats this year.

BTW, the 4/14 Oakland tickets are available.  Go see Canseco's 
return to Fenway with Mark McGuire for $32 for first row 
Reserved Grandstand seats.

I am a season ticket holder for Reserved Grandstand Section 11.  
My tickets are $16 each (or $32 per pair).  All Reserved Grandstand 
seats (and Section 12 is a Reserved Grandstand section) are $16.  
I can understand if the tickets are Upper Box seats in front of 
Section 12 since those are, I think, $21 tickets (or $42 per pair), 
but the face value for Reserved Grandstand tickets for Section 12 
should be $32 per pair.

I'm not going to get into a pissing contest with you on this one.

The seats are sec 12 row EE, seats 5 and 6.

Last year, they were $18. each.

This year they are $21.00

That would make them $42./pair

    Someone please pass the popcorn, this one's getting good. :-)

  Section 12 is one of the best sections in the house. It's the little wedge
shaped thing just past the BoSox dugout. By comparison, section 11 is a slum. 

  For what ever reason, I've found myself in section 12 many times when I've
bought a ticket at the gate. Granted I usually end up back near the top but on
cooler days it's not uncommon if moving up a few rows every half inning to end
up just off the right elbow of Tim Wakefield, Tom Gordon or what ever pitcher
is on an off day holding up the far end of the dugout.

  I would highly recommend Section 12 tickets. Not a bad seat to be had except
the one behind the post and you don't sit there for more than 2 innings tops
before "operation move up" commences.

These are 6 or so rows up from the walkway. There are only 6 
seats in the row since the tunnel is to you left. I own the two 
seats next to the tunnel. They were $11 each when I grabbed the 
package 10 years ago.

    You do understand why he is questioning it?  Every other reserved
    grandstand seat is $16.  Is your seat not considered that or do they
    give you the special 10 year rate of ONLY and extra $5 a seat 8*)

    The $21 seats are upper box (and the price is correct).  They happen to
    be below the section 12 reserved grandstand.
    
    

Once well maybe, assuming that I can't read the tickets that I'm 
holding right now. But believe me, I'm adept enough that not only 
can I read the face value (and write a rather substantial check 
for them) but I can add the two together to get the price per 
pair.

These are upper box seats, not grandstand.

Yes, these are Upper Box since the row is EE (Reserved Grandstand 
rows are numbered starting with 1).  I am curious about what section 
is on the ticket.  The folks who get lost finding their seats in 
front of me have tickets in Section 99 (or maybe it is Box 99, but 
it is not Section 11).  Upper Box seats are better than Reserved 
Grandstand seats, not only because they are closer to the field, 
but they are also three inches wider and are contoured plastic 
vs the flat wooden slats of the Reserved Grandstand seats.

    Do any of you ever use roof seats.  It seems with all the seat
    restructuring (grandstand to box etc; various box prices) that some of
    the roof seats are close in price to box seats.  I haven't been up
    there in many, many years but I thought the roof was a terrific place
    to see a game in Fenway.

Didn't mean to confuse anyone. Sorry.

I've been in roof box seats several times.  In fact I have some seats
there for this Saturday.  I've been in both the right field roof boxes and
the ones that Mo tends to foul into just toward third from home.  The
former are available to normal people who call or fax early.  The latter
are all full of season tickets (and I happened to buy one from someone).

Both locations are VERY nice.  The best part in either place is that there
are not so many people...that means fewer chances to be seated near jerks.
Lots of room, good view.  The right field boxes are obviously not so
awfully close to the action but the clarity of the view makes up for it!

Burns

Had one of my most memorable (albeit UNHAPPY) moments in a right
field roof box seat.

Blue Jays versus Sox...bases loaded...Junior Felix at the plate, Ellis Burks
in Center for the Sox..
(ok it was a FEW years ago..)

Junior Felix hits a line shot to dead center just over Ellis' grab as he 
is running straight back for it...the ball hit the "hard" part of the wall
and bounced back past Ellis (who was just about at the wall at that point)..
I was watching Ellis, and he hadn't yet gotten to the ball, now rolling back
towards the infield, when the guy next to me says "He's gonna score..."...

I looked and Junior Felix was between second and third (Junior could pick 'em
up and put 'em down...)...and sure enough, there was a throw home, but it
wasn't really close...

It's the only INSIDE THE PARK GRAND SLAM, I've ever seen...
