    Hi

    Is a TZ897 planned? We're ordering TL896 and TL822-to-TL893 upgrades
in the next few weeks. For disaster recovery purposes, I want to make
sure I can use tapes created in the ATLs, if we the ATLs or their
    server become unavailable.

Is a TZ897 planned? If so, when, and how much? We'd use this until
our TL89n units were back online.

Is a TZ887-to-TZ897 upgrade planned? If so, when, and how much? I'd
like to upgrade the TZ887 we're already purchased for this purpose.

    Thanks!
    tl

| Go for the product manager, please, on this one.

It's not a simple answer, unfortunately.

I saw your message to Don Ganley, did he respond to you?

But if your refer to TZ8x7 loader with TZ89 drive in it, the answer is
NO. Quantum end-of-life the 5 and 7 cartridge loader with DLT4000/TZ88.

    We'll have a replacement product with TZ89 but I can't give you
specific about unannounced product in this notesfile. All I can say is
the product is the first of TL800 Series which is TL891 (10 slots).

    T.
