Can two TZ88N/TZ89N drives be put into one BA356 shelf set up in split
bus mode so that each TZ tape is connected to a different system?
Customer is setting up a VMS cluster in a 4000 cabinet and space is
getting to be an issue.

yes.... just make certain that the drives are adjacent (no gap in
between) when they are the same... If they are different (TZ89N vs.
TZ88N/TZ87N) you NEED the gap!!!

and what bus drive would be on. and what bus drive would be on.
Since the BA356 Shelf is split "even/odd," a three slot SBB
automatically shifts you to the other bus with the like drives.
[Even slots are always on Bus A, odd on Bus B.]
