    Customer query, he wants to compare a VAX400-500 with a
    Alphaserver 4100-5/400 in Vups, Specint or whatever is used 
    to compare systems. The Alphaserver and VAX are running the latest
    versions of VMS.

| One wonders what this has to do with storage. A DIGITAL AlphaServer 4100 5/400 is a whole lot faster than a VAX 4000 model 500 -- at least as far as computes go. I'd venture to say easily 10 to 1000 times faster depending on the particular operation. What application are we talking about? | |||||
