	The supported drivers for the TZ88 is the Microsoft
DLT driver from Service Pack 4 or higher. Tell the customer
to use the Microsoft drivers. The Digital driver is old, but
I have never heard of it causing this kind of problem.

    I called the customer to use the SP4 and higher drivers.

    They said the reason they called Digital for updated drivers was
    because they were not able to use compression with the MS drivers.

    Which engineering group would you like this escalated to?

    Thanks.

	The TZ88 Windows NT drivers are supported by Microsoft.
The hardware is supported Storage Systems ( now part of SBU ).

    Well, I must now fall on my sword.

    In asking more and more questions since this all seemed odd, it turns
    out they added a new TZ88 and failed to set up the hw compression
    in the BACKUPEXEC GUI. And it had NEVER worked on this device because
    they had never turned it on. (The onsite FE just filled me in on
    the details.) Evidently we had a few too many people telling each
    other what was happening...  ;-}

    My apologies. And thanks again for your help.
