6513.0. "8200,KZPSA, Out od SCSI ID's" by JULIET::SMITH_P () Tue Mar 25 1997 09:43
    I have a customer with dual AXP8200, these 8200 each have 2 KZPSA
    adapters connected to a BA35X shelf with 4 RZ29 disks in each. All has
    been working fine.

    Customer added 2 more drives and the system states "Out of SCSI ID's".

    _______                                                         ______
    |8200 |KZPSA--------Shelf DWZZB 4 going to 6 Drives--------KZPSA|8200|
    |_____|KZPSA--------Shelf DWZZB 4 going to 6 drives--------KZPSA|____|

    Originally this would have been ID 6+7 = Adapters, Drives would be
    0,1,2,3 - Now drives would be 0,1,2,3,4,5

| 6513.1 | Where is the DWZZB? | SSDEVO::MARTENS | Qualification Program Manager | Tue Mar 25 1997 09:50 | 8 |
|  |     Paul,

    Where is the DWZZB installed? If its in slot 0 (where they suggest
    it be installed), then the problem would be the last drive is in
    slot 6, which is the same as the host adapter.
