6487.0. "Concepts of RAID technology (shadowing)" by KDX200::COOPER (There is no TRY - DO or DO NOT!) Tue Mar 18 1997 09:15
Quite a while ago (maybe four years ago) there was a white paper I read
on RAID technologies and specifically, host-based shadowing. Even more
specifically, there was quite a discussion about how shadow copying
    worked.

Now, I've got a customer who wants to see this whitepaper, but I can't
find it anywhere. Can someone post a pointer to where "concepts"
    papers might be kept??

The whole conversation started with the customer saying "How long does
it take for mirror/shadow sets to copy?". After an hour of trying to
explain that there are zillions of factors that contribute, I thought
that this whitepaper might help them to understand DIGITAL's lack of a
    single answer. Can someone help??
