    I have had a call from an engineer in the field
    
    BA356-JC With BA35X-HF Power) 1 x TX88N-VA 1 x BA35X-MH, And slot0 has
    DWZZB-VW
    
    This will be connected to a KZPSA.
    
    On powering on the BA the lights on the Tape drive light up and then go
    off never to come on again....even if trying the tape in another
    BA(That is a known functioning BA350 backplane.)
    
    The engineer then tried the clients TZ87-Va and yes you guessed...it
    seems to have blown that too!
    
    He then changed the power supply but the leds on the tapes stay off. He
    did not indicate if a third tape unit was tried.
    
    Has this been seen before?
    
    Any comments? I have asked that the whole lot be returned to be sent to
    Nijmegen.
