Hi,

One of my customer told me that the MSCP served disk always get the following
message whenever accessing it.

Device $2$DIA5: (CSDV02) is offline.
Mount verification is in progress.

Mount verification has completed for device $2$DIA5: (CSDV02)

The configuration is as below:

 MSCP serve disks


The message is displayed whenever there is an access from node VAX B, there 
is no message when accessing from node VAX A.   


The systems are running VAX 7610 and 7620 running VMS V5.5-2 for over 3 years
without problems.  There are no configuration changes.  These message
comes repeatly whenever there is an access from VAX B starting yesterday.

I have checked the errorlogs on both nodes, there is no error messages.

Is there anyone seen similar things before?  Any ideas?  What are the 
possible reasons for mount verification?

	You may start looking for a shortage of nonpaged pool on both systems. Jur.

	Couple of things... Check the REINIT count of the CDDB for the drives that go into mountverification. Use $ANA/SYS SDA>SHOW DEV $x$DUAxxxx, hit CR till you see the CDDB screen, the count is in the midle. Second, are you running with a later version of the VAXDRIV kit? something like 04 or 05 that has DUDRIVER, if not try it. Kevin

	You will see mountverfication each time the connection is reinited. Since this is the MSCP connection, also check the CDDBs on the other node with the direct connection to see if they are being reinited. If so, you'll need to try and determine what is causing a loss of connection.

	I only see one Reinit count and zero on the direct connected node. However, there are repeat mountverification messages. Is there any other things that cause the mountverification? Thanks again for your help. Kenneth
