|  |     Even though it affects a Digital product, this is really Wind River's
    problem. They're responsible for the architecture-independent parts of
    the operating system which might have Y2K problems. Surely, none of
    Digital's hardware support or any of our 64-bit changes have any such
    problems.
    
    With that said, I've tried several times to find out what Wind River
    knows about this issue. There have been numerous people complaining
    about potential problems in comp.os.vxworks. Wind River is playing it
    very close to the vest. I haven't seen an official statement from them.
    
    It's been a while. I'll rattle their bedpan again.
