| VxWorks for Alpha V5.2C is now is field test. This release contains the
following new features:
- Board Support Packages for the Digital Alpha 21164 PICMG
Single-Board computers (also known as "Takara")
- Support for additional ethernet controllers (DE500-AA, DE500-BA
and DE520-AA)
- Operating system compiled with DEC C, including 21164-enabled
code for Takara
- remote debugger updated to GDB 4.12
- Digital Portable Math Library (DPML) update
- GNU tools updated to version 2.7.2.1 (for 68K systems)
- Miscellaneous performance improvements
o bcopy(), bfill()
o semGive(), semTake()
Network kits are available for authorized internal sites. Please send
your request to HELIX::REALTIME. Include a world-writable directory on
your system we can use to copy the kit.
