    	I have a customer who has several celebris gl pc's which are
    enclosed in pressurised cabinets,these cabinets only power up after
    a thirty minute delay.Hence the Celebris does not power up because it
    needs the on button pressed(these have a dc on/off switch)

    	Does anyone know of a solution to this type of problem i.e. can
    this machine be set up to power on when ac is applied to the power
    supply?

| 7425.1 | Yes there is a mod. | SNOFS1::16.153.96.192::powellronald | Australia! | Mon Apr 28 1997 21:24 | 10 |
| Engineering does have a mod that can be purchased to give the machines with a "soft" power switch the action you require. I don't have the part numbers but I believe the part is available on request and goes in between the power switch and MLB. I asked about this item about a hundred entries ago. By the way, the term 'soft' is the term I use to refer to this type of power switch operation, compared to a "hard" power switch that actually makes/breaks the mains power to the power supply.
