|  |     Re. .0,

    I think you are out of luck on this one. I believe the Celebris XL
    daughter cards require the combination 3.3V/5V power supply. If memory
    serves the LPx 5XX only had a standard 5V power supply.

    I think you would need to go with a Pentium OverDrive chip for faster
    cycles.

    Regards,
    David.

| 7343.2 | Try Kingstons 133M offering if Intels 83 Mhz is too slow | SNOFS1::16.153.96.192::powellronald | Australia! | Mon Feb 10 1997 22:31 | 5 |
| | Changing daughter cards wont work, as per .1 . If you need a faster CPU than the Intel 83Mhz
Pro, try looking at Kingstons offering of a 133Mhz AMD 5x6 based CPU. It has its own 5v-3v
converter , plus a fan etc and uses pin outs. Look on Kingston's web page for more info.

|  | Intel does offer a 120Mhz (I believe there's a faster one now)
Pentium Overdrive upgrade which I have been running successfully
in an LPx 5xx for several months now.
Regards.
