    Hi,
    
    I have a customer who has Domino V4.5 and wants to know how many
    partition he can have on his alpha server.
    
    On the intel platform, we heard that you have a max of 6 partitions for
    Notes, but this number does not apply to the alpha platform.
    
    Does anyone has any idea how many partitions does a Alpha 1000a support
    ?

	Hi Angeline, I thought the max number of partitioned servers (# of instances of the Domino server process) was 8 for the number of partitioned servers with Domino V4.5X, but I am happy to verify. Whether its 6 or 8, its not specific to any platform with the possible exception of the Unix platforms. The max on Intel WNT will be the same as Alpha WNT. Pete
