| 2411.1 | The kids are upset about his departure... | CSC32::K_MEADOWS |  | Tue Apr 08 1997 07:29 | 2 |
| | ..and that is so much closer for us, too!

| 2411.2 | would like to know outcome... | CSC32::D_RODRIGUEZ | Midnight Falcon ... | Wed Apr 09 1997 10:38 | 19 |
| | Definitely interested in the outcome here...

    The letter also states 'we' have to decide by Wed, Apr 30th, who our
    new PCP will be. If you don't decide, Dr. Wallace will be assigned as
    your PCP.

    So, in the interim (if this thing doesn't get resolved), does anyone
    have any recommendations or 'do-not-recommend' comments about the
    following PCPs? Replies here or via email (csc32::d_rodriguez)
    are fine.

    Kathleen Boyls - (North Branch) - takes appts. for 4pm-8pm only.
    Stephanie Wallace - (North Branch)
    Mitchell Irwin - (North Branch)
    A. Glenn Shauptaugh - (Pro Rodeo Drive location)

    Thanks,
    Dan

| 2411.3 | Maybe its time to use HMO Elect | CSC32::K_MEADOWS |  | Thu Apr 10 1997 07:05 | 6 |
| | Last week when I was in, I inquired about a replacement. They don't
    plan to replace Dr. Kautz with an MD but *may* get a PA in. So far,
    I've really liked the PAs they've had in Peds.

| 2411.4 | Bummer. | BSS::MARAFINE | Dare to Dream... | Thu Apr 10 1997 16:43 | 13 |
| | I agree... North Branch CS Med Center (or CS Health Partners as they
    are now called) have always been great with my kids. We had Dr. Irwin,
    Dr. Shoptaugh, and now Dr. Koukol for pediatricians and I recommend
    any/all of them. I originally chose Dr. Shoptaugh 12 years ago (?!!)
    when my son Christopher was born... one, because he was Debbie's dad
    (she used to be a Deccie here), and two, well, we figured who better
    to be our baby's doctor than a guy with 10 kids of his own! =)

    Sorry to hear of Dr. Kautz' departure. He was good too.

    Leslie

| 2411.5 | May need to trun up the heat.... | DV780::DIFIORE |  | Thu Apr 17 1997 09:38 | 13 |
| | Well we still have not heard back from FHP on this issue.

    It may be a good idea for others to also send in their own memo. They
    may feel they are not getting enough heat to woory about it.

| | Dr Kautz does not want to deal with FHP anymore, according to informed
    sources.

| | Don't know who your informed source is, but I spoke directly to Dr
    Kautz on April 4th, and after dicussing the situation with him, told
    him that I would be writing a letter to FHP to express our displeasure
    at their decision. He didn't indicate that he no longer wants to deal
    with FHP. He was much more angry with CSHP than FHP when we talked,
    because it is CSHP that is blocking his approval by FHP at his new practice.
