The 2-1-1 Avalanche take the Bruins 3-1 for there second home ice win of
    the early season.

They could have been the Extreme's. I guess noone choaked on Avalanche
live they did Extreme. Rocky Mountain Goats would have been better.

What's the deal in Colorado. You've got one of the best hockey
teams in the NHL with a grand total of 8 people in the stands when
    the puck is dropped.

I just hate singular names for teams:
	Magic, Jazz, Heat
Believe it or not, I even prefer Mighty Ducks to Avalanche. And it's too bad,
because they're a damned good team.
It'll be interesting to see if they draw. A while ago, someone had mentioned
the previous failure of the Colorado Rockies(?) hockey team, and how there
was more in the way of professional sports competition in the area now...

Bruins sucked pond water against these guys. One "LUCKY" goal.
Kasper the Friendly Coach sucks.

So ? Are you suggesting the Crusaders were a better team ? Are you
suggesting he left because he thought Cleveland was a nicer place to
live ? Or was there some other reason ?

Probably the Massachusetts Department of Revenue... :-) :-) Something about
having his mail delivered to him at Suffolk Downs...

| | I think Cheevers left because he'd accomplished all he could with the Bruins
(2 Cups in three years) and wanted more $$$. Wasn't that what the WHA was
offering?
I can't complain too much about the WHA -- it gave me the opportunity to see
professional hockey and see the three Howes play together. The Hartford
franchise did a lot for the city of Hartford.
