It is for pro football.

Based on the spread you pick one game each week. 3 wrong and you're out.
Last one remaining wins. If you miss a week you pick 2 games the following
week. If you tie you pick 2 games the following week.

Simple enough, even for a Big 8 fan :-)

I have an excellent memory, always have.  But for some reason, as a little
tyke charged with memorizing the 23rd Psalm, I ALWAYS ALWAYS mixed up
that line.

     Well then its time to change that statistic too. Last year they
    couldn't get to the SB because they started out 0-2. The year before
    they couldn't get to the SB because they had the  leading Rusher and no
    team had ever been to the SB let alone win the SB with the leagues 
    leading rusher. So why not start a new thing by winning without Emmitt. 
    At least this once anyway  :-)

    If they weren't playing against the #1 Defense in the league, and one
    who's fort� is against the run, I'd be more easily convinced.

    Cleveland has the 5th ranked Defense for both Rushing and Passing in
    the AFC, Houston has the 1st ranked passing D and the 14th ranked Rush
    D... In total yards allowed (Defense) Houston is ranked #1, Cleveland
    #6.  But like -1 pointed out WHO CARES... Houston has allowed 123 pts
    to cleveland's 58 over the 5 games, thats 13 pts per week.  Also
    Houston has a -6 Give/Take ratio to cleveland's -1, Houston's 8 fumbles
    leads the AFC.  Houston has 14 sacks to CLevland's 7.  So in terms of
    yardage and individual players Houston has the better defense.. Of
    course Houston had to play Dallas/Buffalo well cleveland got to play
    Arz/NYJ so the pts scored would obviously be more VS Houston...
    
    This will be a BIG game, is Cleveland truley the best team in the 
    Central, doubts are on them with there only loss being to the only
    playoff caliber team theyve played (Pittsburg), now they play the down
    and out Oilers who dont even appear to be a playoff caliber team but
    other then Pitt this is there toughest challange...
    
    Teams true colors come out against challanging opponenets (See the NYG)
    If they beat houston they could possible sweep the next 3 and move to a
    8-1 start before the GRUELING part of there schedule starts.... Will be

    Hey,  Like I was telling Mike, this is the toughest week to pick so
    far....but, with Jim Brown at the Browns practices all week making
    sure the Browns do not take Cincy lightly and with the fact that the
    Browns did not play well against Cincy in the first game of the season
    and the fact that they play in the Pound, you just have to like the 
    BROWNS this week.

    Actually, as unlikely as it seems, it's not out of the realm of
    possibility.  If Daugherty really can play, and play well, the
    Cavs can put a very good team on the floor.  That's a huge if,
    but it's not out of the realm of possiblity - one preseaon mag
    even predicted in (Street & Smith?)

    I disagree.  I think the Bulls are likely to finish ahead of the
    Cavs, yes, but I think the Cavs have the higher upside potential
    for the year, and are thus more likely to win the Central Division.

    The Cavs JINX is in, for another year (At least).  They will move then

    What Glenn was saying has to do with Bell curves, standard deviations
    and areas of probability. To nutshell:
    
    	The area of the curve equal to bulls chances for better season
    record is greater than cavs within the default probability.  But if you
    extend the probability limits out by a factor of 3 then the area under
    the curve favors the cavs.

    It was, however, a close call between Cleveland and the Vikings but

	with the **KOH CROWN** atop it.  As this man goes forward toward

    	How about a new rule change for this years KOH contest? During
    the year you can only pick a team ONCE during the year. This way
    Hal can't pick the Browns to cover the spread twelve times during
    the year. Ex. Week 1 Cleveland -3 over New England. You can't pick
    Cleveland the rest of the year. In fact he might end up picking
    against the Browns during the season. :^).

The whole point of the KOH is to play your bestest pick o' the week. It
shouldn't matter which team you pick, when, or how often.
