Re .1 - Yeah, but the Cleveland Crunch have more kick...
You know, seeing the words "World Champion CLEVELAND" all together
like that warms my heart. Cleveland's been the butt of so many
jokes, put-downs, and what not over the years, and the failures
of the sports teams ("The Drive", "The Fumble", "The Shot", and
"The Curse") have done nothing to helps matters. Sure, the Crunch
aren't exactly a high-profile team - they aren't even as popular in
Cleveland as the Force, the old MISL team, used to be - but it's
nice to have a winner for once.
BTW, the last Cleveland sports Championship came in 1964, when the
Browns won.
