Hi,
we have got a problem in one of our applications which is used to render an image. Using the DCL OCNVERT command
the following behaviour can be watched:
$CONVERT/DOCUMENT 1.DDIF/FORMAT=DDIF 1.TIFF/FORMAT=TIFF
%ISL-F-INVCODTYP, invalid code type encountered during decompression.
In out sources we are trying to decompress the frame using
DecompressFID = ImgDecompressFrame( InputFID,
ImgM_AutoDeallocate,
0);
This results in:
%ISL-F-INVCODTYP, invalid code type encountered during decompression.
Break on unhandled exeption preceding SHARE$IMG$SHRLIB+1039796.
Some of the customers images are rendered, some not. The only difference between these images is
the IDU_BIT_ORDER.
...
}
IMG_CONTENT
{
...
IDU_BIT_ORDER MSBIT_FIRST ! Integer = 2 instead of LSBIT_FIRST
$anal/image sys$share:img$shrlib.exe
id: DW V1.2-3941206
This is a high priority problem. Does somebody know how we can get a solution for that? Is this the conference
to address this problem? Who is servicing that staff? ...
Thanks in advance
Claus Noethen
