Westford, Ma. Sportmens' Club
SPORTING CLAYS FUN SHOOT - APRIL 26, 1997
Pump shotguns and side x side doubles (2 triggers only)
This fun shoot is planned for the hunters who want to try Sporting
Clays but don't have an expensive over/under shotgun or are afraid to
embarrass themselves - we can all do it together ! We really want to
make sure you had fun and get plenty of shooting. You will see many
target presentations but only a small portion of what we usually offer.
We will give a prize to high gun for Pumps, Doubles and Youths.
It is a 100 bird event, with special targets. Registration at the club
from 8 am to 11 am. Cost is $30. (preregistration $25.) - youths 16 +
under $15.00. Breakfast & lunch available (sm. $)at the club house.
DIRECTIONS:
From route 495: Route 3 North to Route 40 exit in Chelmsford
Route 40 west (towards Groton)
Take first LEFT across from MIT Observatory
Take Granitevill road to Club (appr 1 mi on left)

This sounds like a great time (and cheap too!) for anyone who hasn't
tried sporting clays.
After trying this game, my rifles and pistols are getting lonely. For
and inexpensive O/U try a Stoeger Condor I or II. They have screw in
chokes, take 3" shells, and take a pounding. My Condor I has over 5K
rounds though it.

True, you can use any gauge, there will only be 1 prize for each
category listed. If someone chooses to use a smaller gauge they just
need to understand that they could be handicapping themselves.
