3170.0. "Bilateral Info error in XMR log file?" by BALTMD::16.67.192.140::GATES (You gotta have HEART...) Tue Apr 15 1997 18:10
I've recently got MAILbus and Microsoft Exchange V4.0 SP2 communicating
through via XMR (V1.2 ECO2) through a MAILbus 400 MTA V2.0 (on Digital
UNIX). All seems to be working fine.. except every message sent from
Exchange to MAILbus causes the following log message to be generated in
the XMR$X400TOMR.LOG file:
Bilateral Info not bit string syntax - 8
or something along those lines.. (I don't have the exact log file in front
of me) The message and attachments get through tagged correctly, etc. Is
there something I have not configured correctly? Could this be something
to do with Exchange?? I seem to recall a problem with SP2 and bilateral
information, but it currently escapes me.. Any information would be most
appreciated. Thanks.
