    Hope this is the right place to ask.
    
    I have customer has a VAX node which installed LPS V4.1. He has a LPS20
    to load from it. Recently he purchased an Alpha system and installed
    LPS V5.1. He used the ADD_PRINTSERVER to add this LPS20 to be loaded by
    the new system. Just after he add it, a detach process was started but
    then stopped. From the log there were message like this:
    
    lps$services.exe;1 Jun 5 15:15:29: Management session rejected --
    Access denied - incompatible version
    lps$services.exe;1 Jun 5 15:15:29: Entered lpad_exit
    
    The printer was up and running.
    
    Why is this caused?
