      Our group's LSR2000 looks like it needs a new YELLOW toner
      cartridge.
      No yellow on test sheet... colors are washed out.
      However, the printer is NOT calling for toner replacement.
      Power-cycled printer to see if that would "check" the toner
      level.  - Nogo.
      Do you recommend having DEC IHFS check the toner sensor?
      or
      Can I "shake" to exising toner cartridge and re-insert it in
      the printer without dumping any of it?
      or
      Just go ahead an replace the YELLOW TONER?

| 7216.1 | Have service check the sensor! | REGENT::DODSON | Fri May 30 1997 08:14 | 2 | |
| I would suggest the you let the service person check the sensor. I have
    never seen this behavior on the LSR2000.
