Hello,

having problems to connect an lps20 to our net, has some kind soul
a pointer of the lps20 (owner's?) guide (or manual?) on the Easynet
for me, please?

    Pardon me for asking the obvious - but do you have the PrintServer
    Supporting Host Software? You can just `plug in' an LPS20, it must be
    booted from a host system (VMS, Unix, WindowNT etc).
    
    If yes, what kit do you have?

Hi Nancy,

of course I've PrintServer Software for OSF/1 AXP V5.1 installed,
and a lps17 is running well, but I'd like to see/test whether
the settings of the lps20 (e.g. IP address) are ok,
so I asked for an lps20 manual.

    There should be pointers to PrintServer 5.1 kits and 
    docs (software docs) in note 6.
    I don't know where to get the hardware manuals though for the
    PrintServers. 
    The software manuals will tell you how to use the printer's remote
    management utilities ("remote console" and GUI-based remote console) to
    monitor/check printer status, job status, configuration etc. etc.
    I think that it what you're looking for?
