Hi,
A customer has a DEClaser 2250 wich generates a %DCPS-W-CFGERROR
when he prints with SIDES=2 (has worked oke according to the
customer).
I also get this error if I send a simple postscript file to the
printer in wich I select duplex (statusdict begin true setduplexmode end
showpage).
I checked serveral notes about config errors but could not find a
solution.
As I understand you get this error if you try to select/activate
something wich is not available or functioning.
It look like something is wrong at printer (HW?)
Are there any other things to check at the printer beside the knob
on the output tray?
Thanks,
Henk

Tim,
Thanks for your reply, but I tried both papertray's and in both cases I
received the config error.
According to the customer they don't have a envelope tray, only A4
trays.
I asked a harware engineer to take a look at this printer.
Henk.

Did you check the knob on the output tray? What paper size(s) are you trying to print on? Simplex jobs print okay, and are being fed to the top output tray? - tom] | |||||

Hi,
> Did you check the knob on the output tray
The customer did (see .0) and he just phoned me that he gave me wrong
information, the knob on the output tray was not in the right position.
Everything is working oke again.
Sorry,
Henk
