    hi all,
    
    	we have two printers 1. hplaserjet 3 
    			     2. hplaserjet 4/4m
    
    connected to LAT ports via decserver 200
    
    these two printes form 2 execution queues and we have a generic queue
    for which the execution queues are these two queues.the os
    is vms 5.5-2
    
    we were using a cps driver for both the printers for
    postscript printing.the problems were that the 4/4m
    printer use to flush out many jobs in the middle
    and many a time prints empty sheete with a hash in 
    the top left corner.
    
    I put both the printers on dcps v 1.3 to solve the problem
    two days the printers were perfectly ok and after that
    the queues used to get stalled very frequently and some times
    the generic queue stops all of a sudden .i was forced to go back to
    cps and with that the original problems started
    
    I request some on e to help on this ie for hp 4/4m and hp 3 
    what dcps version is best.it is a very critical problem
    and i would be very greatfull to any suggestions on this

    Hi, when you use DCPS 1.3 you need disable input flow control on 
    the Decserver , and more the patch VAXQMAN02_070 must be applied it is 
    recommanded for this version , and you need DCPS-OPEN license with
    DCPS 1.3 for this printers HP , and without License with CPS.
