|     I lost track of this one, but not much has changed.  The error comes up
    after the inital picture comes up with "Network Printing Software
    V5.1-1OP"

    I used the .BAT file to REMOVE the software completely, then
    reinstalled it from the same kit.  The system has the whole kit
    installed.  Just reinstalling seems to have no effect.  I tried copying
    files from the good machine to the bad one and it had no effect.
    
    The system has SP5.

|     I recall some more replies on this.  Did they disappear?  Somebody
    asked where it was failing, and I replied that it displays the
    initial screen announcing what it is, then fails.  So, no printer names
    are displayed.  The other machine was doing the same thing.
