Hello.
I am having a problem after having installed WINDOWS95.
The environment is a motherboard where a pentium 100 CPU has been
installed (2mb video an two HD).
The problem occurrs when exiting: trying to enter id DOS mode the
PC always displays the message YOU CAN NOW EXIT THE SYSTEM.
In windows 95 is possible to use the DOS PROMPT correctly.
test shows that the system works correctly.
ANY IDEA?
I can supply the technical details.
Best regards
Tonino

I am not exactly sure what your problem is. I would suggest, first
initiating the system in the DOS prompt. When Windows95 boots up and
displays the "Starting Windows 95" banner, press the f8 key. This
displays a menu. One of the options is command prompt. I would suggest
first starting at the bare command prompt.
When you exit Windows95, you are given the choice to restart in DOS.
You could possibly have a problem with a line in your autoexec.bat or
config.sys files. Using the F8 technique, you may be able to expose the
problem where it may be masked when you do a normal startup. At least
this is a start.

I've read somehwere a method to boot into Windows 95 and when Windofs
95 exits you're back at the DOS propmt. Something in MSDOS.SYS and
AUTOEXEC my gray cells tell me.
