    I have a query relating to using xcopy.I see note 1289 covers
    some aspects of usage.
    I xcopied c:win95 plus apps to a bigger drive d: both ide
    the transfer went okay and d boots up but there are two problems.
    1.Some of the menu startup apps have the filename truncated ie..~ at
    end of file.(I copied files in dos mode but restart in standard format)
    2.When windows95 starts up it gives an error saying "ddeml.dll"
    has been replaced by a program you recently ran.You need to exit
    to repair file automatically.The file doesent get repaired on
    exiting.
    
    any ideas...
