| 1851.5 | Windows95 & NT net use are different | ODIXIE::RREEVES |  | Mon Apr 07 1997 10:02 | 12 |
| | I am very interested in this topic. Are you saying that under 95
    there isn't a way to specify a username/password combination
    with net use thet is different than the one used to login to Windows95?

    I noticed that the sntax of the net use command is different under
    Windows95 and Windows-NT. With NT you can specify any username
    and password, with 95 you cannot specifiy a username.

    It seems that a different username and password can be specified
    from the Windows 95 Explorer though. Odd that this feature is in
    the Explorer but cannot be performed from the command line.

    Where are you looking? 95 has never had NT's "connect as" field, to my
    knowledge.
