| re .4 on copying cabinet files to a hard drive and using them to
install Win95 components:
What points Win95 to the directory with the cabinet files? I have a
system from Dell that works fine adding components and automatically
extracting files from the .cab files in C:\windows\options\cabs. I
have another system that I built which always asks for the CD to be
installed, although I copied the .cab files to a similar directory.
