Could someone with access to FMS on an OpenVMS Alpha system create a
.obj file from a .flb for me please?

Send mail to the above address and I'll arrange to get the .flb to you.

    Thanks,

    	Owen.

| You should obtain a FMS full development license and install
FMS full development kit to execute FMS/EDIT, FMS/TRANSLATE, FMS/LIBRARY,
    FMS/OBJECT commands.

If this is for a customer I would reccomend that they obtain
the FMS Full Development for themselves - DON'T give full development
    activities away to customers!

If this is for yourself - obtain the FMS full development license
from the VTX PAK infobase and have at it..

| I am definitely following up with my customer with respect to FMS
licensing however readers of this conference should no doubt be
intrigued by the fact that the .flb file I received is dated
13-Oct-1983 and contains 4 forms.Suffice it to say I guess the code is
stable and it's really neat that a simple recompile will allow it to
function on state of the art hardware i.e. Alpha under OpenVMS.

| Pulling a .FLB from a VAX over to a Alpha will work - Typically there
is more to the picture when migrating.

If FMS/OBJECT or FMS/VECTOR commands are used to build application
    - the corresponding .OBJs must be built on the Alpha platform.
