| | I should point out that i only take the BETAGEN on workout days and
2 tab's of HMB every day. Also, after 6 weeks i will again load the
PHOSPHAGEN HP for 5 day's. Pro shakes are also taken only on workout
    day's. mon-tues and thur-fri.

    updates will be every friday.

    good luck to me!!!!

| | going for that lamborghini, bill? sounds like a logical supplimentation; got
some extra money so i can see if it works for me? 8^). gues you got your tax
refund, huh?
good luck with the cycle, don't know what to say about the pump, but a couple of
articles in MM2K point out that one would experience more of a pump/cell
voluminizing effect with phophagain HB than with HMB, however, HMB would prolly
provide longer lasting effects.
maybe you're getting too much HMB at the beginning of your program?
supplimenting V2G with the 'cycle' just might help to enhance the pump (and vit
C before and after exercise, according to some fitness gurus) per MM2K
reccomendations.
good luck! and mo' power to you for those EARLY morn workouts!
reg.
p.s. FYI (brian and other early bird lifters, too): read some stuff over the
years and most recent data suggests that early morning (esp w/in 3 hrs of
waking) may actually be counterproductive to building muscle.

| | Well it's been two week's since i last wrote. not much to tell, have
added another 10-lbs to my bench press and will most likely go up on
    everything else next week.

I have made up my mind to join the BALLY'S fitness center down the
street from my house, as I can not get the results I want from my home
gym. Plus my body has become somewhat use to my workout that I need to
shock it in order to get these results.

I did make one change with the sup's, I stopped taking the HMB because
the BETAGEN has the same amount of HMB in it, so I can save it for
    the end of the cycle.

| | I'm psyched, I picked up the 90 serving BETAGEN for $70, as compared to
$97.99 at GNC. My buddies gym sold it to him for that price.

| | well i've decided not to join BALLY'S, it was'nt worthe the money.
for now ill stick with my home gym.
have added more wt to just about everything. more rep's also.
things are looking good so far.

almost out of BETAGEN, next week should do it. will load at the end of
    the week.

| | Interesting. Latest issue of MM2K lists at least a couple of studies that will
be presented, which seem to confirm that HMB promotes LBM. One study to be
presented at a symposium in New Orleans in April says that women will see
increased LBM and fat loss using HMB. Heck, it even helps horses with greater
endurance.

| | the m&f article stated that the info supplied in the findings was misleading and
contradictive. it stated that the control was stonger to begin with and the end
results showed everyone coming out nearly as strong as their counterparts in the
study.
it also questioned the fact that hmb has been shown to limit muscle damage and
it's a weel known fact that muscle damage is required for growth.
it didn't argue with the fact that it may help to promote endurance as in it's
predecssors (alpha luecine ? and KIC) but they argue the increases in strength
for the 'relatively weaker' subjects to equal that of the stronger control group
by use of hmb alone over such a short period of time.
some very valid points at which our 'friend' bill phillips will be sure to fire
back on with validation as he's not one to let the dweebs pull the wool over
anyone's eyes.

| | Another (2)wks have gone by and things have greatly improved.
I have gone to lighter wt's and higher rep's (so as to shock my
muscle's) and have seen much improvement. I will continue this for
another (2)wk's and then go back to my normal routine.
Although i have not lost much fat, the cut's are beginning to show.
At the end of the month I will increase the aerobic's and see how that
work's. All in all I do believe the product's do what they say they do,
and is money well spent.(For me, anyway)

    will keep you posted........

| | I must say, things have gone much better than I expected.
I have another (3) weeks to go and am looking forward to some time off.
My energy level is so high right now, you'd think I was on speed.

I am sticking with the workout I talked about 2 weeks ago.
low wt's with high rep's, this seems to be working just fine.

Ive dropped my bench press down to 190lbs for 4 x 15 this is from
    260 for 5 x 6 with a 1 rep max of 300.

    Before starting the cycle I was pressing 220 for 4-5 x 6-8.
I would say that is quite an improvement in only 2 month's.

When starting out, going heavy seems to be the key. then dropping
the wt for awhile, then going heavy again.

I have read those HMB studies and I can only say, for me it is working.
As with any sup's, different people will get different result's.

The only thing I dont like about my result's is the lack of fat loss.
but, im really not going for that at this time. It would be nice
to to lose a couple of inches off the mid -section.

will let you know the full result's in 3 week's.
