| Hi,
I installed wnt v4.0 sp3 (a update from sp1a) on my Alphastation
500 5/333 on Monday and all seems fine except for a problem I'm having
with Digital NSR not backing up clients.

| hi,
i installed US SP3 on a ALPHAstation 255/233 (updated from US SP2).
. )
all works fine, except IE 3.02, which worked with US SP2.
IE 3.02 just hangs, TaskManager shows 'Not Responding".
iexplorer.exe (version 3.02) has version 4.70.0.1300;
iexplorer.exe included in US SP2 has version 4.40,
iexplorer.exe included in US SP3 has version 4.40 too.
i don't known what i could have done wrong.
i installed Netscape V3.01 for Alpha which is fine for me too.
.)
graphics performance (ZLXp-L2 ... OpenGL) is much better.

| Did it on my workstation on Thursday. Everything works, including IE.

| Yes. (SP3 requires it be de-installed, then re-installed after SP3
is applied.)

I noticed that SP3 didn't update the version string on boot.
(where it says "Windows NT 4.0 build 1381 Service Pack n")
Anyone else notice this?
