When trying to install NT on the above system it fails with a blue screen

stop C0000135
unable to locate dll
the win32k.sys could not be found.

We have the latest HAL from the web and the firmware, and the latest video
driver, the rz28 has a 7mb partition as a FAT.This must be hardware but what 
specifically?

	Make sure you're using the 1000A HAL, not the 1000 HAL. PJDM

	He is using the apporpriate HAL for 1000A

	There's a note attached to the HCL entry on the AS1000A 5/400 that 3.51 Service pack 5 is requred for "proper operation" I don't know how you get to SP5 without first installing the base system from CD unless you can order a new 3.51 CD with SP5 included? \Bob Lail

	FYI... This was probably due to the fact that Microsoft ran the HCT test on this platform using NT V3.51 SP5. As a result, they will only support the machine if it is running that version of NT. Scott
