7306.1Check VMS permissions!NETRIX::"[email protected]"Brian LopezMon Jan 27 1997 03:1418
The problem could be related to VMS permissions.
Please ask the customer if he has logged into the PC using a user name and
password with
ADMIN privileges before running PWINSTAL.
Since he has deleted the share previously, ask him to check for any remnants
of old files or
directories that might be causing clashes. Also, check the privileges for the
shared directory
under VMS to ensure that the user has create & write access to the directory.
Such problems sometimes occur when there is a clash between the LANMAN and VMS

privileges. (Check if the security settings are set to User).
Normally, as long as a user has write permissions to a share, PWINSTAL runs
without any
problems.
