503.0. "Free Copy of AMD's Palasm PAL (Ancient) Software" by NPSS::COOPER () Mon Apr 28 1997 12:42
(cross posted to ELECTRO_HOBBY)
I'm trying to give away a copy of AMD's (programmable division now called
Vantis) Palasm V1.5a PLD development software. It was free to me.
It's DOS based and claims to require running standalone under DOS.
You can develop, using Palasm source language, PALs from 16R and 16L series
up through 16V8, 22V10, & 26V12 and MACH 1x0 and 2x0 PLD's
(You produce a .JED JEDEC file for use on a programmer).
The 16R, 16L, 16V8, 22V10, & 26V12 devices are available from a number of
manufacturers.
The software includes a simulator for checking your design.
It's free and includes manuals, examples, etc.
