What about using VTSTAR terminal emulator under Windows? So you have your VAX
station console neatly as a window on your PC!

| | But how will that prevent the Break signal (apparently generated whenever
Windows starts) from being sent?

| | You may want to try a replacement for COMM.DRV. See NOTED::MSWINDOWS
note 201.56 for a CYBERCOM.DRV

Eh... we're in that conference, and there ain't no note 201.56.
I've searched the entire conference for CYBERCOM.DRV but, no joy.

    Rien.

Uh, oh. I'm losing my noteSkill!
Try NOTED::IBMPC-95 201.56 to see the file.
I can't find any list of switches to comm.drv although a hex dump of
the file shows the word "break" in clear text. Maybe there is a
/nobreak switch, maybe not.
Would it be possible to just disconnect the VAX console during windows
boots?
