Hi all,
sorry if this sounds wooly, thanks to my ultrix box hanging
yesterday I lost all the details from the nice call and the
note I was about to submit for this customer!! Argh!
I've checked patches, notes, and comet and not found anything
that seems right for this.
Customer has 4.0b system, not using cde.
dxsession appears to be ignoring the .Xdefaults file.
xrdb shows settings as they're meant to be as does .Xdefaults if
you look to check it's been saved ok but when you log in, or even
do restore last saved settings it still doesn't actually apply
the settings. to make sure it's not just an error in .Xdefaults
causing it to abort the read he totally removed the file and
resaved it - same problem.
any suggestions ?
