    Yesterday, I was watching the second round of the Supercross Series
    (from the L.A. Colisium) on ESPN2.
    
    They were going down the line of bikes on the starting line and were
    focusing on Damon Bradshaw.  I was looking at his CR250 and said to
    myself "that sponsor logo looks familiar", but quickly brushed it off
    as an impossibility.
    
    Well, no sooner do I say that when the announcer says that "Damon
    really likes that CR from Manchester Honda Racing".  I just about
    swallowed my cookie whole.  Manchester Honda Racing is out of
    Manchester, CT (just down the road from me) and is owned by a good
    friend of my parents!!  I know the owner and both of his sons who 
    work in the business and are members of our enduro club.  Manchester
    Honda is a good size car and motorcycle dealership that this guy built
    from the ground up.  Started out with bikes in the 60's and then got
    into the cars.
    
    They have always sponsored local guys, but certainly no one like this.
    
    Guess I'll have to keep my eyes and ears open for when Damon will be
    around.  I'm sure that he will show up when the outdoor series comes to
    Southwick!
