One of our partners has hit virtually the same problem - they were comparing a packed field to being less than zero. They also found a different workround - declare a variable in working storage with the same PIC format, which is initialised to zero, and then compare against this variable, compiles OK. There's no fix yet available for the 038-F error. We're hoping to have this fix included in the next product update. Thanks for posting another workaround. -Joanne | |||||
