Hi all, a customer of mine has some problem with LTCONNECT on a
Hangerman decserver port.
His system is running OpenVMS 5.5-2 and LTDRIVER.EXE 6.0-405r.
I found VAXLAT03_U2055 patch and I would like to send it to him.
I saw it replace the LTDRIVER.EXE with 6.0-405w.
In the meanwhile I try to reproduce his problem on my system,
even if I have only Digital decservers.
Do you think it is a good idea?

without telling us what the problem is, we can't provide added value.
There isn't any more recent patch for V5.5-2 as VAXLAT03_U2055 and I doubt,
that there will ever be one. Maybe suggest an update to a more current
OpenVMS VAX version (maybe V6.2 or even V7.1) ?

Here is some more info:
the customer has a third party DAS which has some problem with
LLCONNECT to the Hamgerman decserver.
The customer has made a fortran program to verify if there are
LAT comunication problems with this decserver.
His fortran program just hang doing IO$_TTY_PORT IO$M_LT_CONNECT.
So he called us to know if there are known problems with his
SW configuration.
I'm going to send him a working example from STARS and ask him to try
it with a Digital decserver.
I'll post the result.
