We have a pair of SIMMs made by Digital which I have not been able
to figure out. I went through Wim Bloemendal's list but can't
seem to match them to anything. The DRAM's have the following
on them
          Japan ADO6NN
          9048 4100AS8
          21-32366-35
These are double sided with 9 DRAM's on each side and then one
other chip which has
          74F541D
          210A379
          9044KD
I hope I got all those small letter copied down correctly!!
Thanks,
Chris

| Is that a 30-pin SIMM?

The DRAM part number maps to CMOS DRAM 80NS 4MX1 FAST PG 20P/350 SOJ,
produced by Hitachi. Unfortunately, nothing shows up on the "Where
    Used" list.

With 18 of these on a SIMM it seems probable that you have an 8MByte
"X9" 30-pin SIMM. What the octal line driver (74F541) is doing there is
    anybody's guess...

Well, if you mention my name, I'm obliged to answer.... :-) >The DRAM's have the following > 21-32366-35 This seem a DEC P/N, which would be a 4Mx1 DRAM, 80ns ...!! >These are double sided with 9 DRAM's on each side and then one >other chip which has > 74F541D Which is a 8 bits buffer chip. So this makes it a 80(!) pin SIMM, 8MB, called MS01-CA and was/is used on PMAX, (DEC station 5000/100 as far as I remember. (Well actually it was my collegeague Coen Centen who remembered this all... and suddenly realizes how long it already has been with DEC... :-)) _Wim_ | |||||

| Counting the pins, they do have 80!! I guess these are not going to be very useful with a PC. thanks, Chris | |||||
