    My Special color has reverted to black; entries are still marked as
    Special (the menu option is greyed out) but the red has gone away. I
    think it may have resulted from a DECnet upgrade, but if so I'm
    surprised I didn't notice it sooner (as the upgrade happened a couple of
    months ago).
    
    I tried using the decw$xdefaults.dat posted in 250.5, but (while it had
    some effect - changed the background color etc) the Special color
    stayed black.
    
    Any ideas?
