Hi,

a customer of us would like to know if there are any performance comparisions
for the DECnis (500 with a W614/618 card or a 600 with 2 W622 and MPC-III 
processor) and a RouteAbout Central EW available.
The Router should act as a X.25 Relay (4 sync X.25 interfces at 65Kbps and 2 
LLC2 connections, about 100-200 paralled SVCs.)

	I don't have comparisons. But I can say that the figure for
	RA900EW is about 260-300 pps, depending on the number of
	SVCs and packet size.

	I think a DECnis, with MPCIII, can do a good deal better than this.
	Hopefully someone in here can provide you with the actual figures
	for the DECnis.
