Hi all
I need a check obn a multi redundant network config.
GIGA/FDDI=========Hunt gps=====GIGA/FDDI
| / \ |
dual homed to dual homed to
[CabA] 900EF or VNEF 900EF or VNEF [Cab B]
portswitchtpj portswitchtpj
redundant repeater links between tpj's
portswitchtpj portswitchtpj
10-70 users/ 10 per segment 10-70 users/10 per segment
There are 4 floors each with 2 cabinets and upto 150 users per floor.
The idea is to have as much redundancy as possible. I intend having the
master portswitch closest to the users. Is there any issues using both dual
homed fddi links at the top and redundant repeater links between the cabs.
What would be the fail over timings of the links.
Regards John
