| | The temp sensor IC is on the MAM module itself. It's an LM34
    lcated next to a row of DRAM chips I believe.

| 3721.4 | Please clarify what/why you want this in manual? | NETCAD::BATTERSBY | Don't use time/words carelessly | Thu Jul 18 1996 18:29 | 7 |
| | I'm not sure I understand what it is you are suggesting to go
    into the manual. The "MAM Condition Yellow" implies it's the
    MAM going overtemp, not something else. So you just want a
    piece of text stating the temp sensor that triggers the
    "MAM Condition Yellow" is on the MAM module?

|  | Hello Bob,
 as I was the asking person for this I thank you very much
for this exact and quick answer . I don't know why or what should go
into the manual about the location of the temperature sensor .
Anyway I am happy with Your answer..
Maybe this would be interesting for Field Service..
Thanks

| 3721.8 | DECconncentrator900-FH and Hubwatch 4.1-x | CSC32::B_GOODWIN | MCI Mission Critical Support Team | Tue Jul 23 1996 10:58 | 7 |
|  | Will Hubwatch V4.1-x support the DECconncentrator900-FH? I know it's not listed
in the spd, but the DC900-TH was listed and I thought there were about the same
except for UTP .vs Fiber. My customer still wants to use D-unix and doesn't want
to go to a Microsoft platform.
Thanks,
Brad

|  | Haello Brad,
also I cannot confirm this by having it done or seen myself (I have
no DEConcentrator900-FH available) this is what I found in the Release Notes
to Hubwatch V4.1 for DEC UNIX
            1 Introduction
               Version 4.1 of HUBwatch for Digital UNIX is the third release
               of the HUBwatch application on Digital UNIX. Version 4.1
               of HUBwatch for Digital UNIX provides all the functions of
               the V4.0 release and adds support for the following network
               modules:
                  DECconcentrator 900FH
                  Digital MultiStack System
               The HUBwatch V4.1 software also recognizes the following
               modules when they are installed in the DEChub 900MS:
                  DECpacketprobe 90 and 900RR
                  RouteAbout Access EW and TW
                  DECswitch 900EE and 900EF contain bridge/routing firmware
Hope this helps...
